A multi-level park in the middle of the city, full of green, flowers, and an open cafe with views to the Castle and the Valley. The public toilets in the west entrance are just a great bonus. Perfect on a sunny day to sit and relax right in the busiest street of Edinburgh, so if the sun is out, do expect it to be a bit crowded! This is the best spot to watch the Edinburgh Festival Finale Fireworks at the end of august (entrance fee applies!)
The main train line runs through the middle of the park, so it is also a perfect location for some trainspotting while relaxing in the sunshine.
